OUR BUS ROUTES
Newbury & District is a name synonymous with public transport in West Berkshire since 1932. Over 75 years later we’re proud to be providing the very highest levels of service with modern buses and a small team of friendly drivers.
All of our buses are fitted with seatbelts and have a step-less entrance, making them particularly suitable for wheelchair users and passengers with pushchairs.
Every bus is powered by a low emission engine which runs on bio-diesel, resulting in our fleet being extremely environmentally sensitive.
We offer single, day return, and weekly tickets for both adults and children (5-16yrs) in addition to a District Day ticket which allows unlimited travel on all of our services. We accept valid tickets issued by other bus companies between points which we both serve.
We participate in the senior citizens’ Concessionary Fares Scheme whereby pass-holders travel free after 9am and all day at weekends.
Our buses are also available to hire; we offer a range of sizes from 29 to 53 seats, so please contact us with your requirements.
